Dublin Arts Council show highlights student work
The Dublin Arts Council is shining the spotlight on student artists with its latest exhibition, emerging.
The student show, an annual presentation at the DAC, opens with a public reception set for 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10.
Participating artists come from grades K-12 in Dublin City Schools as well as the POWER Plus postsecondary program and participants in DAC's ARTcamps. Students could submit up to three pieces in various media. Some of the works will be for sale.
The exhibition, which is juried, will be displayed through Feb. 17 at the DAC, 7125 Riverside Drive, Dublin. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free.
