Since 2012, the News and Tribune of Southern Indiana have recognized 120 young professionals who have excelled in the business world all while giving back to their community through volunteering.

Ashland High School graduate and University of Akron alumni, Rachel (Phillip) Province has been selected to be one of its representatives for 2018 and will be featured in its annual 20 Under 40 edition of Southern Indiana Business magazine, which will be released in July.

This distinction came as a surprise to Province, who is the operations manager of the Ashland-based company, Transformation Network.

"I had heard of the magazine’s 20 Under 40 before but would have never guessed I would be nominated and then selected," Province said in a news release.

She currently manages all branches of Transformation Network but is based out of its Clarksville, Indiana office.

Outside of work, Province enjoys spending time with her husband Jared and their families, exploring local restaurants and shops and staying active outside with her dog, Poe. She is a volunteer for the Young Professionals of One Southern Indiana (YP1si) as the director of programs and development. She loves working for Transformation Network because it gives her the opportunity to help people and advance the organization's mission to "Inspire individuals to fulfill their purpose as God’s masterpiece."

Transformation Network was founded by Dan Phillip in 1999 and started by providing life skills courses and job development to those who had barriers to employment. Now, Transformation Network partners with manufacturers in Ohio, Southern Indiana and Kentucky to deliver staffing and retention solutions and to provide job seekers with employment and training needed to succeed in the manufacturing industry. Transformation Network is located at 1310 Claremont Ave. in Ashland.
