It's boo time again! This weekend and next, one of Columbus's best known and best loved family-friendly Halloween events happens. It's Boo at the Zoo — the merry not scary event at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium on Oct. 22-24 and Oct. 29-31.
Each weekend will feature candy stations, magicians, a haunted train ride, special themed regions of the Zoo and other thrilling Halloween activities. In addition, the Zoo is excited to announce that Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, the Green Lantern and the Joker will be on hand to help celebrate Halloween. These amazing super heroes will be performing shows and appearing in the Zoo's Character Caravans.
Guests that enjoy shows also won't want to miss the popular Animals on Safari show that features dogs and cats that were rescued from local shelters. Also, those interested in catching a Halloween themed program won't want to miss "Creature Features" at the Animal Encounters Village.
The Zoo's animals will also get into the Halloween spirit, with pumpkin smashes on the two Saturdays of Boo at the Zoo. This delightfully haunting fun event will offer a Halloween experience in an atmosphere that only the Zoo can provide!
Boo at the Zoo is included in the price of admission and free to Columbus Zoo members.
