The Ohio Tuition Trust Authority (aka “The Tuition Trust”) is the state agency that manages Ohio’s CollegeAdvantage 529 plan, and tomorrow they’re hosting a College Savings Roundtable Discussion on the Internet.
The Roundtable Discussion is an informative “webinar” that provides Ohioans the opportunity to learn college savings tips from a lineup of 529 and higher education experts.
The webinar will take place tomorrow -- Thursday, Nov. 18 -- from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. You can watch it live or access it at a later date by visiting www.makefriendswiththefuture.com. All webinar participants will be entered for a chance to win one of eight $100 CollegeAdvantage 529 scholarships.
The College Savings Roundtable Discussion coincides with the launch of a new integrated campaign promoting the $25 College Savings Plan from CollegeAdvantage. The campaign’s message is simple: It only takes $25 to start a CollegeAdvantage account and saving regularly is easy with one of their auto-save options such as electronic funds transfer (EFT) or payroll deduction. To encourage regular savings, the Tuition Trust is offering a $25 matching contribution when families enter a promo code, enroll and sign up for payroll deduction or EFT. After the third deposit, the Tuition Trust will provide a $25 matching contribution in the account. Families can enter promo code TWENTYFIVE at www.makefriendswiththefuture.com to be eligible for the offer.
To register for the College Savings Roundtable Discussion and for a chance to win a $100 CollegeAdvantage scholarship, families can access a link at ww.collegeadvantage.com.
