From Columbus Parent's games guru, Shawn Sines:

Pokemon Black & Pokemon White ($50, Rated E, Nintendo DS)

The long-running Pokemon series returns to North America in a completely new outing. While the monster-collecting game has been in constant production since the mid 1990's, Black and White mark a new era for the series.

Pokemon Black and White keep the core gameplay of finding new monsters and training them to combat each other, but this time out the game features seasonal play. This new feature means that players can only capture certain collectible monsters during specific seasons and adds some more strategy to the title.

Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, the two versions of the game offer exclusive settings and creatures in each version so those who truly want to catch them all will need both games to accomplish that task.

Additionally, the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram can only be caught in Pokemon Black Version, while the Legendary Pokemon Zekrom can only be caught in Pokemon White Version so players should choose their legendary target when selecting their game.
