Who knows how to party in the frozen February tundra better than a polar bear?
Find out this Saturday, Feb. 19, when the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium hosts Central Ohio's only Polar Bear Plunge benefiting Special Olympics Ohio.
But donít worry ó participants won't be sharing the pool with the bears. They will instead enjoy a super-sized, ice-chilled pool of their own. The plunge itself happens from 1:30-2:30 p.m..
If swimming outdoors in February isn't your preference, you can still partake of the Post Plunge Party. The party happens from 1:30-4:30 p.m. For more information, contact Megan Carney at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 614-239-7050.
And if you can't make it on Saturday, enjoy free admission two days later on President's Day, Monday, Feb. 21 (but alas, there are no Presidents, past or present, who are expected to be swimming that day).
