The 2011 Festival Latino opens tomorrow and runs through Sunday evening in Genoa Park (behind COSI) along the riverfront. This is always a banner event during Columbus summers with a ton of great food, music, dance, art, fashion and family-friendly activities.

Just look at this lineup of food vendors: Azteca Catering (Mexican fare), Casa Sazon (Latin deli), D's Dogs (hot dogs), El Manantial Latino (Colombian fare), El Pilon (Puerto Rican fare), I Cee Rainbows (Italian ice), Krazy Kettle Corn, Late Night Slice (Latin pizza), Panaderia Oaxaquena (tacos, burritos, tortas, fruit), Paradise Lemon & Lime (lemonade), R 'n' R Concessions (Puerto Rican fare), Rapicci's Italian Ice, Sanders Concession (corn dogs, funnel cakes, elephant ears), and Tropical Fruit Juices. There's a big children's area for fun things to do, plus a marketplace with artists and other vendors.

The Festival runs from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. each day. For more information, visit their website at www.FestivalLatino.net.
