Jelly Belly at COSI
Great works of art re-created from Jelly Belly jelly beans and on display at COSI? Could we be more excited about this?
Beginning this Wednesday and continuing until January 13, there is going to be a display of eight massive (like 4-foot-by-six-feet big) pieces of art made entirely from Jelly Belly jelly beans at COSI. Among the works of art being displayed are Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa,” Vincent van Gogh’s “The Starry Night” and Grant Wood’s “American Gothic.” Each recreated painting contains anywhere from 9,000 to 12,000 jelly beans.
Your kids will never look at art the same way after they see this. For more information about visiting COSI, go to www.cosi.org. To get a look at the whole Jelly Belly art collection, visit their online gallery at http://www.jellybelly.com/Art_Gallery/bean_art_gallery.aspx.
