Donate books to help fight illiteracy

One in four American children grows up without books in their home - Magnificent Affairs is looking to end that.

To help fight illiteracy, Magnificent Affairs is collecting new and gently used books for a citywide book swap called Christmas in July. The swap will take place on July 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Maloney Park, located at 1701 Joyce Ave. The event is free to the public.

All the books collected will be donated to families in need and underserved communities.
