Head to Schiller Park for a different take on the play

Say "sweet dreams" to 17th Century Shakespeare and instead enjoy the Bard with the Actors' Theatre of Columbus "all night long" as they put their own spin on Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" in Schiller Park.

This rendition of the classic comedy is set in the 1980s. The show promises all the ambition, mischief and mistaken identities of the original but set to the tune of pop-culture and gender dynamics of the "Me Generation."

Still haven't found what you're looking for? (Are you getting these pop tune references?) The German Village show takes place every Thursday through Sunday at 8 p.m. until July 28. And the Actors' Theatre won't "shake you down" - the show is free (but donations are appreciated). Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on.
