Thanksgiving is not the only day in November devoted to food.
National Parfait Day on Nov. 25 is another celebration that your family might bite on. While traditional parfaits are made of ice cream, fruit syrups and whipped cream, they are easily modified into a healthy snack by using yogurt, fresh fruit, granola or graham crackers. Don't forget to serve them in a fancy glass - it's part of their charm.
