Columbus Symphony Orchestra to host event Jan. 17

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra's Concerts for Kids series returns this Sunday, Jan. 17 at the Riffe Center's Capitol Theatre.

This one-hour long program is designed for kids, ages 3 to 10, and uses a variety of storytelling tunes that kids and adults alike will recognize and enjoy. And Sunny 95 radio's Dino Tripodis will guest narrate "A Family for Baby Grand," the story of a baby grand piano who ventures out into the world to join an orchestra.

Pre-concert activities begin at 2 p.m. in the Capitol Theatre's lobby (which is located at 77 S. High St. in downtown Columbus). Activities will include:
