If the shoe doesnt' fit, I can still wear it.

A funny thing happened to me on the way to Target to exchange a pair of shoes. I somehow left the store with the same half size, too big shoes that I went there to return. Sometimes I confuse easily.

So now I am walking around the office and my shoes are just loose enough that I look like it's my first time in heels. I am dreading the return trip to the store where I try and explain my not so brilliant exchange and try to leave the store with the right size this time.

I'm about to give up on my cute heels when my brilliant boss hands me a pair of heel liners. I remove the sticky backs, place them along the inside of the heels and behold! I am Cinderella off to the ball! In reality, I am Alexis off to a meeting, but now I don't look like I'm playing dress-up in my mom's heels.

The heel liners were only $2.99 at Drug Mart and they saved me time and embarrassment. If you have any shoes that are just a smidge too big, grab a pair of heel liners from your local pharmacy and you'll be strutting instead of slipping, too.
