Mix 97.1 Reading Festival
Bring the whole family to the 8th Annual Reading Festival hosted by Mix 97.1. The Reading Festival is fun for kids of all ages. Enjoy fun centers, indoor playground, reading times with Mix DJs, and meet your favorite storybook characters like Clifford, Strawberry Shortcake, and Winnie the Pooh.

The first 4,000 kids get a free book and everyone that comes gets a free Zoo pass! Tickets are $5 for adults and kids over 10. Kids 10 and younger are free. The Ohio Expo Center is located on the Ohio State Fairgrounds at 717 E. 17th Ave. The festival is from 10 a.m. 4 p.m.

Gahanna Moms East Preschool Information Fair
This is a free event with over 20 preschools from the Gahanna and New Albany area. Parents can gather information about these schools while children participate in crafts and activities. The fair is from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 4456 Morse Rd., Gahanna. For more information e-mail bigdodge9999@yahoo.com.

Nintendo DS Days
Kids in grades 4 through 6 can bring their Nintendo DS for some portable fun with friends. This free program begins at 3 p.m. at Old Worthington Library, 820 High St. Call (614) 807-2626 for more information.

Sweet Serenades by the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra
A concert sure to tug at the heart strings. The orchestra will perform two of the world's most beautiful and romantic serenades. The show begins at 8 p.m. at the Reese Center. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students and are available by calling (740) 345-5383.

Worthington PTA Council: Fundraising Information
Non-profit organizations are invited to attend a Fundraising Information Showcase presented by the Worthington PTA Council on Saturday February 7 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Worthington Kilbourne High School. There will be many choices of goods and services offered as fundraising opportunities to non-profit groups. Admission is free. Contact Shelley at (614) 793-8598 for more information.
