Race for the Cure in Columbus
The Komen Columbus Race for the Cure is a 5K Run, a 5K Walk, and a 1 Mile Family Fun Run to benefit Breast Cancer research, treament, education, and screening. The race is on Saturday, May 16, 2009 8 a.m. and starts at the Corner of Broad & Front Streets. To register for the race go to www.komencolumbus.org.
TGIF: Battle of the "Rock Bands"
This after hours video tourney for teens is totally rock and roll. The event also includes a scavenger hunt that will get you up and moving. This is a free event at 6 p.m. at Northwest Library, 2280 Hard Rd. For more information call (614) 807-2626.
22nd Annual Boy Scout Maple Syrup Festival
The event includes maple sugar shack, tree tapping, indian dancing, blacksmith shop, branding irons, pioneer area, tomahawk throw, BB shooting, hay rides and leather work. There is also a $5 pancake feast. The cost is $2 per person and is at Camp Lazarus, 4422 Columbus Pike in Delaware from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information go to skcbsa.org.

Disney on Ice presents a Disneyland Adventure

Each Family Sunday celebrates an artist, current exhibition, or theme from the CMA collection, and each offers a variety of interactive gallery activities, hands-on art projects, performing arts concerts, and special exhibits. Family Sundays are at the Columbus Museum of Art, 480 E. Broad St. every Sunday.
