Dublin Kiwanis Club Easter Egg hunt
The Dublin Kiwanis Club will offer its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11.
Organizer Lesli Beynon is urging families to arrive at least 30 minutes before the 20th annual Easter egg hunt gets under way at the Coffman Park Pavilion, 5200 Emerald Parkway. "Parking is very limited this year," she said. "We're really emphasizing that people get here at 9:30 (a.m.)." The Kiwanis Club will be stuffing about 7,000 eggs with treats with the help of the Key Club. Beynon said about 2,000 children are expected to participate in the Easter egg hunt. Participants will be divided into three groups: children up to age 3, ages 4 to 6 and ages 7 to 8. As in previous years, the Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures. Parents should bring a camera.
