Columbus Arts Festival.

Okay, ladies, you know summer has arrived in Columbus when you start seeing advertising for the Columbus Arts Festival everywhere! And thank goodness for the advertising because for some reason I always think the Columbus Arts Festival occurs later in June and it never does.

If you have never been to the Columbus Arts Festival I highly recommend you check it out June 5-7. It's a great way to spend the day or weekend if you are so inclined (it's free, so why not)?

There are all different kinds of art: from pottery to painting, photography and jewelry, plus everything in between. And all are for sale! Whenever I go I have to buy at least one thing. It's my Arts Festival mission to find something that I can't live without (that fits into my budget of course) and bring it home with me to enjoy for years to come.

And when I need to take a break, I can sit down with a nice big cup of freshly squeezed lemonade, eat great food from one of the many fabulous vendors, listen to live music and relax while enjoying the downtown scenery. Sounds pretty great huh? It is.

So come June 5, 6 and 7, rally the family together, grab your friends, throw on your walking shoes and head down to the Discovery District to enjoy the Columbus Arts Festival. See you there! For more information visit www.gcac.org/fest.
