"We use a plastic disposable device that has eight plastic prongs on it. Each prong is dipped into a different allergen serum, such as purified dust mite, purified ragweed pollen, etc. The plastic tool's prongs are pushed up against the back and give several tiny pricks on the skin at once. It feels similar to having a prickly hairbrush pushed against the back."
