The power of NO!
You don't have to serve on every committee and your child doesn't have to be involved in every sport. Setting limits isn't about saying "no," it's about being selective about saying "yes."

Be a calendar girl
Have a family calendar posted in the kitchen where all appointments are scheduled to keep everyone on informed, avoid overlapping appointments, and keep you from becoming overextended with too many activities.

Avoid cup overload
Assign one place, like a tray, where everyone keeps their cup(s) during the day. At the end of the day, they go into the dishwasher.
