Central Ohio is home to some pretty spectacular indoor recreation centers, and it seems to be
the ones with multi-purpose pools that get the most attention - and deservedly so. It's easy to
lure the family into some healthy activity when you've got monster water slides and a lazy-river
feature to visit between lap swimming, fitness classes and indoor wall climbing.
Westerville's rec center opened in 2001, southeast of the Polaris area. Residents of course
get a break on fees ($230 for an annual ultimate pass for adults, $165 for kids 3-15), but
non-residents don't fare badly either ($345 and $247.50).
