What's the most played song on your iPod?
Pink's "Raise Your Glass."
If you had to be on a reality TV show, what would it be?
Probably "Dancing with the Stars." I don't actually watch much of "DWTS," however I have heard that people who have done the show love it and, best of all, it is great exercise. I would be awful, but figure if I am going to do reality TV, I might as well get something out of it.
Who's your favorite TV mom?
Frankie on "The Middle." While Frankie's parenting style is not pretty, she really does love her kids and they seem to know it. My guess is that Frankie represents far more moms these days than anyone would imagine. There is only so much time in a day and Frankie-style parenting may just become more common where both parents work outside the home. Thankfully, it is not as bad as it looks at first glance and not only will our kids survive, but also thrive.
Which superhero power would you like to have?
Either teleporting or flying, so I could get where I needed to go faster.
Favorite thing to do for cheap family fun?
Playing the Wii.
Favorite restaurant to take the kids?
House of Japan. They have expensive tastes!
Favorite way to spend a Saturday?
Staying home, doing nothing and just playing with the kids.
Favorite movie that you went to see with the kids?
What's the biggest difference between your children?
Anslee is sweet and never gets mad or cries; Jonah is just a loud ham; and Hannah is a typical teenager, but a super good kid who can be really serious.
What's something your mom or dad did that you thought was nuts when you were a kid but now you understand?
Insisting we do so much family stuff, which I thought was just not cool.
What's the best advise you ever received as a parent?
Enjoy them while they're young, because they grow up fast.
I have two - "Live each day as if itis your last" (by the way, easiersaid than done) and "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" (always reminds me that adversityusually pushes us to better things).
