CMA exhibition includes Westerville teacher's work
A Westerville teacher is among the artists whose building skills are on display at the Columbus Museum of Art.
Eric Cacioppo, who teaches art in the Westerville City School District, is participating in this year’s Think Outside the Brick: The Creative Art of Lego exhibition. The show, a collaboration with the Ohio Lego User’s Group, features an extensive mini model of Columbus crafted from the ubiquitous plastic blocks.
According to information from the school district, Cacioppo contributed six mosaics of famous artworks, six Pokemon sculptures and built the canyon, dam and flying saucer sections of the display.
Think Outside the Brick runs through Feb. 26.
CMA is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays. The museum is closed Mondays.
