WOSU expands children's programming
Central Ohio families soon can tune in more Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and other PBS Kids favorites.
WOSU Public Media is launching WOSU Kids, a free 24-hour children’s channel, on May 15. The new channel will make select PBS Kids programming available around the clock on TV (find it on digital 34.4 or 993 on Spectrum), at wosu.org/wosukids and pbskids.org, and on the PBS Kids app.
The station will hold an event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 3 at COSI with activities, exhibits and characters from shows such as Daniel Tiger, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Peg + Cat and Ready Jet Go!. Other events will be held throughout the summer including at the Ohio State Fair, Columbus Museum of Art and more, according to the announcement from WOSU.
