Donated Books Help Columbus Students
Columbus Metropolitan Library and Panera Bread have teamed up to collect books for students in Columbus City Schools.
The effort benefits the Books for Breakfast program, whose goal is to provide reading materials to students in grades kindergarten to five as they ride the bus, eat breakfast at school or have morning reading time.
Donations of new and gently used children’s books can be dropped off through Aug. 31 at all 23 CML branches. Monetary donations can be made at any Central Ohio Panera Bread.
Last year’s drive garnered about 8,000 books.
