Gateway movie series goes seasonal.

Get in the holiday spirit this weekend with a seasonally themed family film series.

Gateway Film Center will host Holiday Hoot at 10 a.m. Dec. 2. The event includes activities, short films, live music from The Shazzbots, dancing and a visitor from the North Pole.

The Hoot: Films, Music & More family series typically takes place the last Saturday of every month. Films are G-rated and geared to ages 1-8. Admission is free for those who donate a canned good for The Open Shelter. Gateway Film Center is at 1550 N. High St., near the Ohio State University campus.
