THE BACKSTORY: STEM is all the rage, and the tech trend applies to summer camps as well. After all, science is useful—and fun. For this year's Summer Camp Guide issue, we called on Robot Academy LLC, whose founders have won two back-to-back First Lego League World Championship titles. Robot Academy, which launched in 2006, offers STEM and Lego Robotics summer camps as well as ongoing programs. Lisa Earley, whose three children are in the group photo, teaches at Slate Hill and is a Robot Academy instructor.
