Winners will be named at the elementary, middle and high school levels.

Voting is now open for the 2018 Columbus Parent/ThisWeek Community News Teachers of the Year.

This annual project recognizes three deserving educators: one each at the elementary, middle and high school levels. From Jan. 3 to Feb. 14, readers submitted online nominations for teachers they believe make a difference. Our editorial staffs reviewed them all, did some independent research and narrowed the list to 15 finalists (five per category).

Now, it’s your turn to decide who should win. Readers may vote for one teacher in each category. The deadline is April 2.

Winners will be recognized with award ceremonies at their buildings before the school year ends. They also will be featured in the June issue of Columbus Parent and in ThisWeek Community News.
