ORRVILLE — Noi and Vongseng Luangraj of Orrville, formerly of Vientiane, Laos, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 8, 2018.

They were married on March 8, 1958, in Luang Namtha, in Northern Laos.

They have seven children, Ratchana (Thong) Phaphouvaninh of Orrville, Sack (Sythone) Luangraj of Orrville, Sith (Sue) Luangraj of Orrville, Kope Luangra of Sterling, Virginia, Kiet (Melanie) Luangraj of Orrville, Seo (Jeff) Conrad of Orrville and Somprasong Luangraj. They have 15 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Noi retired as a machinist from The WillBurt Co in 2009. Vongseng retired from Akro Corp, Holmesville. Both are janitors at their church: Christ Church United Church of Christ, Orrville.

Mr. and Mrs. Luangraj and their children escaped their country of Laos during the Vietnam War and have been residents of Orrville for 37 years.

A small family and friends celebration was held and hosted by their children.
