Last chance to vote for the 15 finalists

Today, April 2, is the final day to support your favorite finalists in the 2018 Teachers of the Year awards.

The annual project from Columbus Parent and ThisWeek Community News honors outstanding educators throughout Central Ohio. Three winners will be chosen: one each at the elementary, middle and high school levels.

Readers submitted online nominations for teachers they believe make a difference. Our editorial staffs reviewed them all, did some independent research and narrowed the list to 15 finalists.

This year’s finalists are from: Big Walnut Local School District, Columbus City Schools, Delaware City School District, Gahanna-Jefferson Public School District, Grandview Heights City School District, Hilliard City School District, Reynoldsburg City School District, South-Western City School District, Westerville City School District and Whitehall City School District.
