Local libraries offer titles that appeal to children.

If your family will be logging some road-trip hours in the car this summer, consider passing some time screen-free with kid-friendly audiobooks.

Columbus Metropolitan Library and the Delaware County District Library both offer an ample selection, as do other Central Ohio libraries. Many can be checked out online and played through a smartphone or tablet. Some audiobooks come on CDs that can be played through your vehicle’s sound system.

CML offers detailed instructions on how to borrow and listen to audiobooks at columbuslibrary.org/content/how-do-i-find-and-download-ebooks-and-other-digital-materials-library. For information more about the library’s audiobook catalogue, visit columbuslibrary.org/ebooks. DCDL offers information at delawarelibrary.org/ebooks.
