This year's series features popular '80s titles.

The 10th annual Screen on the Green summer movie series at Goodale Park goes retro with a 1980s theme.

The free series from the Short North Civic Association kicks off July 13 with “9 to 5.” Films begin at sunset, weather-permitting, on an inflatable screen on the softball field. This week’s presentation is expected to begin around 9 p.m. Short films precede the main feature.

Attendees are invited to bring chairs or a blanket. Food trucks will set up shop, and Hubbard Mastery School’s PopUp BakeShop will offer a rotating selection of homemade treats to benefit school programs.

Other films in the series include “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” on Aug. 10 (approximate start time 8:30 p.m.) and “The Princess Bride” on Sept. 14 (approximate start time 7:45 p.m.).
