Dinosaurs in Their Time, the second phase in the $36 million expansion of the exhibit, opens in June and will feature a three-story glass atrium with re-creations of rivers, land and vegetation areas to show dinosaurs in their natural habitat.
Three Rivers Regatta & Fourth of July Celebration
The Fourth of July celebration has been combined with the annual Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta for a family-oriented festival that features water sports, hot air balloons, musical entertainment and fireworks.
Pittsburgh International Children's Theater
A pre-summer trip may be needed to see this showcase that runs May 14-18. The venue features professional theater shows from Russia, Spain, South Korea, Canada, and the United States, and is complemented by fun hands-on cultural and educational activities.
