These short stories make for excellent bedtime reading. Ages 6-10. The Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins Part reality TV show, part battle to the death, The Hunger Games are fought annually by the people of Panem. Sixteen-year-old Katniss is chosen to be one of the 24 competitors. Her expertise as a hunter in her native District 12 makes her a contender to win, but will romance get in the way? Teen. Tumblebooks offers online versions of familiar picture books. Children can read along with an audio recording, or read the stories on their own.
