The Grinch turns 50!
To honor 50 years of How The Grinch Stole Christmas!, Random House Children's Books is publishing A 50th Anniversary Retrospective ($24.99) and Party Edition ($14). The Party Edition (pictured) is a limited-time, collectible foil-covered edition of the beloved Dr. Seuss book.

Since its original publication in 1957, How The Grinch Stole Christmas! has sold more than 5 million copies and is a best seller ever holiday season. Here's a 50th anniversary tidbit: While everyone thinks of the Grinch as being green, he actually started out black and white with pink eyes. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire
