Otterbein, PAST partner for hands-on youth event

Got a kid who likes to tinker?

Head to Otterbein University this weekend for the first in a series of maker events organized in partnership with the PAST Foundation.

Maker Mania at the Point allows students, with help from parents and teachers, to create Gak and Oobleck, mini-catapults and paper airplanes and try 3-D printing and laser cutting. Creations will be taken home.

Events are scheduled for 2-4 p.m. March 19, April 9 and May 21 at the Point at Otterbein, 60 Collegeview Road, Westerville. The cost is $10 per student; adults attend free. Children must be accompanied by a parent. Participants may attend one or more of the all-ages sessions.
