HUDSON — Share questions and comments about Downtown Phase II at the Summer Ward 3 forum Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at Barlow Community Center (41 S. Oviatt Street), hosted by Ward 3 Councilor Alex Kelemen. The Ward 3 Forum is an informal town hall-style meeting where anyone can drop in, make comments or suggestions. There is an opportunity for dialogue and discussion.
While many of the topics may focus on Ward 3, all residents from throughout the city are welcome to attend. Kelemen will open with a brief update. Because Downtown Phase II is a current topic, and there are no more forums or open houses scheduled, there will be time set aside to discuss after Ward 3 topics are covered.
While the program runs until 9 p.m., residents are welcome to drop in or leave as their schedules allow. Other topics inlcude the move of the municipal service center and service garage; how emergency dispatch will function; expanding broadband service; road repairs; trail and sidewalk plans and how to pay for them; and code enforcement and the development of an updated code .
"The residents decide the discussion topics. We get an interesting group with many good questions and comments," Kelemen said. "Some residents like to attend just to hear what their neighbors are saying."
