In conjuction with the Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian Happy Meal Toys, premiering at McDonald's May 22, the central Ohio Co-Op for McDonald's Restaurants is raising money for the Ohio Historical Society (OHS).

On Saturday, May 30, 50 cents from the sale of every Happy Meal sold in central Ohio will be donated to OHS.

"McDonald's is excited to support the work of the Ohio Historical Society throughout central Ohio," said Jeff Newman, local owner/operator and president of McDonald's central Ohio marketing cooperative. "It's such a worthy organization. They not only take care of Ohio's history but bring it alive for all of us. We know that our customers will come out to support them."

In addition, McDonald's will be sponsoring a Night at the Museum event at the Ohio Historical Center on Saturday, June 20 from 7 11 p.m. Tickets will be $12 for adults and $9 for youth with member discounts available. In the spirit of the movie, visitors will be able to experience the Center as they've never experienced it before. For more information, visit www.ohiohistory.org or call (614) 297-2300.
