Got a kid who regularly shows up to breakfast dressed like something from another century or planet? Well, have we got a hot tip for you, O Parental Costume Supplier!
This Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., BalletMet cleans out its wardrobe with a spectacular loading-dock sale. We're talking tutus, fairy wings, and "fur" garments. There will be dancewear (previously owned but perfectly clean). And you can score major bargains on about 200 rolls, folds and scraps of fabric, including scraps of silk, velvet and lace!
All proceeds benefit BalletMet — AND, if you really have a serious costume habit to feed in your household, you can even show up one hour early at 9 a.m., pay $5 and get first crack at all that good sparkly, shiny stuff!
BalletMet Dance Centre's loading dock is located at 322 Mount Vernon Avenue (which is just west of its intersection with Cleveland Ave. and just east of Fourth St.). And be sure to tell 'em Columbus Parent sent you!
