Starting tomorrow and going until Saturday, you can watch as the curators at the Ohio Historical Center take apart, move and then rebuild a mastodon!

It's the 10-foot-tall, 10,000-year-old Conway Mastodon that's been guarding the Ohio Historical Society's museum entrance over there at 1982 Velma Ave. (just off I-71 at 17th Ave., and just north of the Ohio State Fairgrounds: You know the big, square building we're talking about). They're beginning a renovation project of the entrance, so Conway needs to be movedůvery carefully.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Pleistocene Epoch history, up close and personal!
