The Columbus Museum of Art is hosting a free bluegrass music concert this Sunday, March 25.
In a departure from CMA's traditional classical music programming, its nonprofit "Sunday at Central" recital series will host "American Journey" with fiddler Andy Carlson and guitarist Casey Cook on Sunday, March 25 at 3 p.m. in Columbus Museum of Art's Cardinal Health Auditorium.
Carlson and Cook, both professors at Denison University, will play bluegrass, jazz, old-time Appalachian, blues, classical, and original acoustic compositions.
Guests of the 90-minute performance will have free access to galleries in CMA's permanent collection. A post-show meet and greet will take placein the museum's lobby café and refreshments will be available for sale. Donations to Sunday at Central will be graciously accepted. The Columbus Museum of Art is located at 480 East Broad Street in downtown Columbus. Museum parking is free.
