Encourage your children to help others during the inaugural Flying Horse Farms Flyathon.

The Flyathon is designed specifically for kids, ages 7-17. It's a duathlon that consists of running and biking. Depending on their age group, participants will run from a half-mile to a mile and will bike three to six miles.

And, as they are exercising, they'll be supporting a good cause! All money raised benefits Flying Horse Farms, a camp for children who are seriously ill.

The Flyathon is June 3, and registration is open until May 21. Those participating are asked to raise $350 to help provide scholarships for campers. The event will take place at Glacier Ridge Metro Park, and begins at 8 a.m.
