"Miracles & Magic," Ohio's top variety show of comedy, magic and grand illusion, will hit the stage again this weekend. A Friday night opening party takes places at the LC Pavilion with shows taking place Saturday at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre in the Vern Riffe Center.
The 2012 Miracles & Magic benefit show features David Williamson, the host of the United Kingdom's acclaimed television series "The Magic Comedy Strip"; John Carney, one of the world's greatest sleight-of-hand magicians, who has appeared on David Letterman and many other TV shows; Stan Allen, the publisher of MAGIC Magazine and producer of the "MAGIC LIVE! convention; and Jon Petz, a corporate motivational and keynote speaker from Columbus.
The program benefits "A Kid Again," a local not-for-profit organization that strives to enrich the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses and of their families by providing healing times of respite through fun-filled group activities and destination adventures. A Kid Again strives to offer these children and their siblings and parents a cost-free occasion to enjoy quality time together and to create lasting memories.
Matinee ticket pricing starts at $10 for children under 14 and $15 for adults. Limited reserved seating is available.
