"Innocence in a Sense" goes through April 27
A very special art exhibit opened yesterday at the Ohio Art League. The League partnered with the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities (FCBDD) to create a multi-sensory experience art exhibition called "Innocence in a Sense."
The exhibit, which will be in place until April 27 at the League's Gateway Gallery (1552 N. High St.), features the collaboration of children and four FCBDD studio artists, with each work exploring the way that children experience the world with their senses.
The FCBDD Early Childhood Education Partnership serves children with and withoutdisabilities from ages 12 months to 6 years of age.
Along with the children's displayed artwork, there will be individual works by the OAL artists reflecting on their experiences with the children.
