Ice cream lovers, here's an Ohio spot you'll want to check out: Ye Olde Mill is located in Utica, and the Mill has been making Velvet Ice Cream for nearly a century.

Each year, Ye Olde Mill opens for public tours from May 1 through Oct. 31. Take the family to see the ice cream factory, watch as the sweet treat is made and learn some historical facts. Best of all, the tours are free and take place on the hour from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.

And don't miss Utica Sertoma's Ice Cream Festival, which is celebrating its 39th year during Memorial Day weekend (May 25-27). You'll find plenty of Velvet Ice Cream along with other activities and entertainment. The festival is free, and parking is $5 per car.

Learn more about Ye Olde Mill here, and visit the Ice Cream Festival website here.
