Learn a bit about herbs and gardening

Grandparents and their grandchildren are invited to the Geroux Herb Garden in Gahanna to learn a bit about herbs and gardening. The June 28 workshop is part of Gahanna's Grandparent Series, programs designed to build relationships between the two generations.

The interactive session will include a planting craft, an herb food challenge and information about why Gahanna is the Herb Capital of Ohio. The cost is $5 for Gahanna residents and $10 for non-residents. The event is from 10 a.m. to noon at the herb garden, 206 S. Hamilton Road. Registration is required.

Participants also will go canoeing on the July 12 session at Woodside Green Park and golfing on Aug. 2 at the Gahanna Golf Course. For more details, go here.
