Kids can participate in numerous hands-on activities
Marietta's Campus Martius Museum, which focuses on the Northwest Territory, is hosting Kids' Archaeology Dayfrom 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 21.
The event is geared to hobbyists and children who are interested in archaeology as a career. Kids of all ages can participate in numerous hands-on activities and interact with experts. Programs and exhibits will focus on early settlers, Ohio's mound builders and geology.
Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for students and free for children aged 5 and younger. Ohio Historical Society members receive free admission. The museum is located at 601 2nd St., Marietta, 45750.
