It's that time of the year when everyone starts wearing green and speaking with an Irish brogue! No, it's not St. Patrick's Day - it's Dublin Irish Festival time!

The festival, which attracts more than 100,000 people each year to Coffman Park, opens tomorrow, August 1 at 4 p.m. and runs through Sunday. You'll find seven stages with never-ending Celtic entertainment (including thundering herds of Irish dancers), a multitude of food and artisan vendors, and much more.

Kids 12 and younger get in for free, though a wristband pass to the Pot O'Gold Playland does cost $10. Adult admission tickets start at $10.

Along with having kid-centric entertainment, the Kids Highland Games are another highlight for the wee ones: On Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and on Sunday from 4-5:30 p.m., kids can try their hands at such ancient sports as caber and sheaf tossing and the braemer stone throw.
