This weekend in in downtown Columbus's Bicentennial Park
It's one of the biggest, happiest and liveliest heritage festivals in central Ohio: Festival Latino, happening this Saturday and Sunday in downtown Columbus's Bicentennial Park.
Ordinarily the festival is held in Genoa Park on the other side of the Scioto River but, because of the river reconstruction project, it's being held in Bicentennial Park.
No matter though! It's going to be the same family-friendly and free celebration of all things Latino! Events are happening each day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., but you'll want to be sure to visit between 12 noon and 6 p.m. each day when the Children's Area is open.
All kinds of hands-on activities and games will be available there, including the creation of Mexican flowers. And, as always, there will be many vendors selling great food and cool marketplace items, plus a full line-up of great Latin music and entertainment each day.
