German tradition will take center stage as the Schmidt Family hosts the 49th Annual Oktoberfest September 26 to 28 at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds.

You'll find all sorts of great food, entertainment and family-friendly activities at the Oktoberfest, including the free PNC Kinderplatz where kids can enjoy bounce houses, rides, crafts, pig and Dachshund races. And on Sunday, there will be a kids' parade starting at 4 p.m. and the Fall Flip Fest for local gymnasts.

Oktoberfest will be held rain or shine from 5 p.m.–12 midnight, Friday, Sept. 26; 12 noon–12 midnight, Saturday, Sept. 27; and 12 noon–8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 28. Admission is free and parking is $8. All food and beverage will be sold by tickets only, with several ticket locations throughout the grounds.
