The Westerville Parks & Recreation department has a cure for the winter blahs: The parks staff will host a Cabin Fever Reliever from 3 to 5 p.m. this Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Westerville Recreation Center, 350 N. Cleveland Ave., 43082.

The event, geared to children aged 6 and younger, takes place over multiple rooms. Children can participate in large muscle activities, play in a bounce house and make crafts, said program supervisor Lyn Kiger.

"It's a great time for preschoolers to release some energy," she said. "Parents love it."
Children and their caregivers can drop-in any time during the event.

"There's no set time when things happen," Kiger said. "There's something going on in each room at all times."

The cost is $5 per child. For more information, visit westerville.org/index.aspx?page=133
